Coal Loads (Cars not included)
Our unusually realistic coal loads are made for exact fit in HO scale cars. Each is hand cast and painted individually. The material used is a very strong U.S. made Gypsum material similar to Dental Plaster. We have found the coal loads to be extremely popular. First, they are good, artistically, second, they are very economical. Finally, they are unique in that they provide the additional weight that hoppers, especially the new shorter ones, usually need in order to track correctly. Most other coal loads don't provide enough weight, nor do most of them have the gleaming facets real coal has.
